Senior Front End Engineer Santa Monica, CA

We’re seeking a Senior Front End Engineer who can build high quality, well designed interfaces alongside our UX/UI teams.

Working on the Farm:

As the Senior Front End Engineer, you will be responsible for working closely with our User Experience Designers and translating their interaction design into our web applications. You will be responsible for design and implementation of the JavaScript code base and work with your fellow Front End and Full Stack engineers in the application team to ensure the application interactions are seamless, reactive and performant.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience producing and working with high end web interfaces
  • Strong background in UI design, methodologies and development
  • Experienced in web-based technologies, including HTML code, CSS layout, AngularJS, JavaScript/jQuery
  • Knowledge in programming and working with APIs and Restful Web Services
  • Write automated test suites
  • Work with product managers and designers to define the scope of each new feature / product
  • Good communication. Both written and face-to-face communication is a key part of building a great product.
  • A Team mentality. This role requires you to work and collaborate well with other engineers, designers, and those from other teams
  • Passion for learning new technologies, and is quick to learn them
  • Driven by results and delivering a high-quality product to our customers
  • Several years of experience in a fast-paced environment as a Software Engineer/Developer or Architect

Minimum Qualifications:

Quality Assurance Engineer, SoftwareSanta Monica, CA

Join the Event Farm team to help provide a robust and reliable software system to our incredible list of clients. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to develop and execute exploratory tests as well as automated tests in order to ensure product quality.

As a QA Engineer, you will estimate, plan and coordinate testing activities. You will also ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, documented, tracked and resolved in our bug system. QA Engineers at Event Farm get to dive head first into the code base while working side-by-side with developers, designers and the product team in a fast paced, agile environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
  • Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Provide management with requirements coverage analysis reports, test run results, and defect tracking reports.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Monitor program performance to ensure efficient and problem-free operations.
  • Conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments.
  • Develop test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
  • Develop or specify standards, methods, or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness.

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in software development
  • Proven working experience in software quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

Onboarding SpecialistWashington, DC

As an Onboarding Specialist at Event Farm, you will work with our new customers to ensure the successful implementation of Event Farm’s industry-leading Event Marketing Platform. Our specialists achieve this through understanding customer business goals and objectives, developing strong rapport, and executing against a defined onboarding schedule. As a member of the Customer Success team, you will play a pivotal role in the initial training, project management, and delivery of implementation and integration services. You will manage a portfolio of onboarding projects with a diverse set of customers, and as the first touch point in a customer’s experience after purchasing Event Farm, you will be a critical player in driving long-term customer success and demonstrating the value of the Event Farm solution.

To be successful in this role, the Onboarding Specialist will work across departments, including Sales, Customer Success and Product Management, bringing customer objectives to fruition through cross-departmental collaboration and communication. The ideal candidate has experience in SaaS, strong communication skills and attention to detail, with an outstanding aptitude for applying technology to achieve business results. Responsibilities:

  • Understand and translate customer business goals into successful project plans in order to achieve desired product adoption
  • Manage a portfolio of customer implementation projects, ensuring a successful and timely completion of each project
  • Become an expert on the Event Farm platform and train customers with varying levels of sophistication, from the basics of the platform to the availability of an open API
  • Identify and drive efficiency in the onboarding process by developing best practices and process improvements on an ongoing basis
  • Advocate and assist in the prioritization of new customer features and product enhancements, influencing Event Farm product roadmap and collaborating with the Product team to identify short-term solutions
  • Collaborate with Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure smooth hand-offs before and after onboarding
  • Assist customers to quickly identify potential issues and escalate them appropriately to ensure the best possible experience during the onboarding period
  • Assist in the definition of project specifications and client requirements, involve all relevant departments to ensure technical feasibility and resource availability
  • Track and maintain accurate client records and hit key onboarding services milestones using Event Farm’s CRM and additional, relevant tech stack.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing or project management role for a technology company (preferably SaaS)
  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of accounts with keen prioritization and multi-tasking abilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; you have the unique ability to talk technical details and business strategy, in the same conversation
  • Strong technical aptitude and a drive to learn
  • Respect processes but be adaptable through change
  • Critical thinking and proven ability to solve complex problems
  • Excellent written skills - technical writing skills are a plus
